I want to preface by saying that the property manager was very respectful. I appreciate Qi’s quick responses to my request to change the apartment temperature. However, the overall experience and amenities present were not worth the price. Notably, there was no sink outside the bathroom, there was mold in the washing machine, and there was no thermostat in the unit to regulate the temperature. The lack of a kitchen sink wouldn’t have been a problem if not, for the strict cleaning procedures. We were told that additional cleaning fees would be incurred if any used dishes were not cleaned, but there was no kitchen sink to clean them with. We also found several live and dead bugs within the unit, and it was clear that it had not been thoroughly vacuumed in quite a while. Combined with the implication that this was not actually a standalone unit, I was unfortunately disappointed in my stay. I hate to criticize a woman owned business, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Qi’s place was great for our stay in Philly! It is very clean and comfortable and Qi is a caring and responsive host. The location is perfect for seeing all the sites as it is a 15-30 minute walk or Septa ride from everything. It’s also in a great neighborhood on its own - we found a bunch of fun restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries that were within a 5-minute walk from the apartment. We especially appreciated how cool the apartment stayed even with Philly’s record heat wave this April and 90-degree days. One thing to note is that it is ~1/2 mile from a night club that gets kind of loud on weekend nights so something to consider if you are a light sleeper. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our 5 day trip in Philly!
